A catering hall charges per head. We charge for the room.
Most halls in Queens quote per person. Eighty guests at $80 a head is $6,400 before you have chosen a single thing. Other venue publishes its starting prices openly: $3,000 for a birthday, $6,000 for a Sweet 16, $8,000 for a wedding.
We rent you the room. A Saturday at Occasions is $1,295 for up to 80 guests. Optionally, you can custumized add ons depending on your needs like cleaning services, a licensed bartender, or security services.
The food is where you decide. Bring your own caterer, order from the restaurant your family already uses, or cook it yourselves. We don’t require you to pick from an approved vendor list and won’t charge for using your own.

No. Every hall is a flat rate for the room, whether sixty guests come or a hundred and twenty. Most halls in Queens quote around $70 a head, at 120 guests that is $8,400 before you have chosen anything. Our rooms start at $595.
No. We do offer additional assitance and services for additional charge if you want like for cleaning, licensed bartenders, and security. There is no service charge, no gratuity and no fee for bringing your own caterer.
Roughly six to eight square feet per person for a seated event with a dance floor. A party of 80 needs around 600 square feet of usable space, which is why we would rather you booked the room that actually fits than the cheapest one.
